Since 1999, INTUITIVE has been committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, and this milestone marks a momentous journey of growth and success.
On June 3, 1999, co-founders Harold Brewer and Rey Almodóvar met for dinner at Rosie’s Mexican Cantina, now present-day Phil Sandoval’s. After long careers in the civil service, the two knew there was a better way to provide technical solutions to the Department of Defense. It was over chips and salsa that they decided to start their own business of providing premiere engineering and analytical services. INTUITIVE was founded to provide an alternative to the traditional technical support contractor, offering services that are technically sound, competitively priced, and provide the best value.
Over the years, INTUITIVE has grown from a two-person operation to a prominent player in the defense, space, and engineering sectors. Through unwavering dedication and a relentless pursuit of excellence, the company has received many recognitions including becoming the first inductee into the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce Best Places to Work Hall of Fame, as well as being inducted into the Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame in 2024. Today, INTUITIVE has grown to 24 locations with more than 570 employees throughout the country.

In celebration of this significant milestone, INTUITIVE is the sponsor for the first Concerts in the Park event of the summer with a special entertainment experience. The event on June 3rd, presented by Arts Huntsville and the City of Huntsville’s Parks and Recreation, will include live, homegrown music and the city’s favorite local bites. Employees, friends, and families were invited to enjoy the evening as we reminisced on an incredible 25 years.
