Due to staff shortages, excessive amounts of funding were lost as a result of de-obligation of non-expended funds not being managed; incomplete deliverables; incomplete final invoicing/payments; and misplacement of contract documentation over long periods of time.
What INTUITIVE did:
Our Contact Closeout Team developed standard operating procedures, training methods, and prepared packages for closeout. The team then submitted the packages to undergo government analysis for Un-liquidated Obligations (ULO). Finally, they confirmed final invoicing and payments had been made, and the contract was complete.
Impact:
After assisting in the close out of over 8,000 contracts, INTUITIVE discoveries saved the customer $10.4M in Un-liquidated Obligation.
