HUNTSVILLE, AL – November 2017 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE®) is proud to announce it was selected as a Prime contractor to the US Air Force Test and Evaluation Technologies for Ranges, Armaments, and Spectrum (TETRAS) contract. The purpose of the TETRAS multiple award indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) is to provide test and evaluation technologies in support of Range, Armament, and Spectrum requirements to the US Air Force’s 96th Range Group. Through this $998 million contract, INTUITIVE will provide research, development, test and evaluation of weapon systems, subsystems, and components for the Air Force Test Center at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
As a TETRAS Prime contractor, INTUITIVE offers a high level of technical expertise, which includes a wide variety of engineering, test, and manufacturing experience to support test community requirements for analysis, test support, design, and delivery of qualified hardware and software designs from initial requirements definition to fielded operational capability in accordance with (IAW) all relevant standards. INTUITIVE’s thorough understanding of acquisition and systems engineering best practices; knowledge of technology advances in state-of-the art C4ISR, smart munitions, hypersonic, directed energy (DE), target scoring, and signature measurements; and virtual test practices, are essential to implement test solutions under this contract.
This rapid response contract is a valuable tool for the test community to support changes and advances in the test landscape and will provide future test programs with the contracting vehicle to meet their needs. INTUITIVE’s President, Harold Brewer, stated, “We are excited to support the 96th Range Group through this program.
