COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – March 2023 – Today, the Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) joins the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) in announcing that Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE®), an aerospace engineering and analysis firm, has selected Colorado Springs, Colorado for expansion.
From satellite operations to space exploration, Colorado Springs is a leader in aerospace, research, and innovation, making it an attractive location for INTUITIVE to grow. This new office, located in Garden of the Gods Business Park, will focus on support to the U.S. Space Force (USSF), U.S. Space Command, MDA, Intelligence community, other Space Warfighting Units and broader government and commercial activities across the region. INTUITIVE brings its full breadth of engineering capabilities to bear by solving hard problems for the aerospace community.

INTUITIVE provides production support, software and systems engineering, programmatic support, product development, rapid prototyping, and technology management to the Department of Defense, other State and Federal Government agencies, and commercial companies. As business grows, INTUITIVE plans to hire both technical and support positions in areas such as software development, modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, cloud systems and architectures, Big Data management, and artificial intelligence—to name a few.

The Colorado Economic Development Commission approved up to $1,347,612 in performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credits over an 8-year period to INTUITIVE, referred to as Project Beacon throughout the OEDIT review process. In addition to Colorado, the company considered Florida for their planned expansion.
