Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE) is pleased to announce Senior Engineer, Charles Fulks, will be presenting at the 2011 Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) in Boston, Massachusetts on September 26-29, 2011. The ESC conference is designed to bring together system architects, design engineers, suppliers, analysts and media from across the globe, including Asia and the Pacific Rim to meet providers and identify and discuss solutions to current design challenges. This is the second year Mr. Fulks will be presenting at the conference, and this year he will be giving three of the five sessions in the area of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). On Monday, September 26th, he will be co-presenting a four hour session titled “FPGA Design for Embedded Systems,” as well as giving a 75-minute session on “Model Based Design for FPGA Development.” He will give another 75-minutes session on Tuesday, September 27th, focused on “Practical Fixed-Point Processing.”
Mr. Fulks’s qualified expertise has over 15 years of experience with developing programmable logic. He has worked on satellite communication, software defined radio, aviation, rocketry, and encryption projects. He presently leads the digital design / FPGA development group for INTUITIVE and doing so received the company’s first patent titled “Programmable Logic Device Having an Embedded Test Logic with Secure Access Control,” on March 15, 2011. Mr. Fulks holds a MSEE degree from the University of Central Florida and is a senior member of the IEEE.
