HUNTSVILLE, AL – March 2021 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE) is excited to welcome a new executive to its leadership team. Alan Segrest joined the executive team as Vice President of Corporate Operations in February.
In his new role, Segrest is responsible for maximizing employee and customer experiences. This includes managing day-to-day company mechanics, while ensuring efficient operations and cost-effective systems meet current and future needs of the organization. He also plays a significant role in the development and execution of the company’s departmental operational plans, budgeting, forecasting, and advance planning.
“I’m very excited and honored to be a part of the INTUITIVE executive team,” said Segrest. “Over the last 16 years, I have had the privilege of working in many different areas of the company and look forward to using that experience to help streamline Corporate Operations. It is an exciting time for the company as we continue to expand into different locations across the country. This role will help ensure that we grow in a way that maintains our culture and continued success.”
Segrest joined the INTUITIVE team in 2005 as a financial analyst. Throughout his career with INTUITIVE, he has held positions such as Subcontracts Administrator, Project Lead, Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, and Division Manager. From financial analyst to executive leadership, Segrest’s contributions and commitment to INTUITIVE have attributed to the company’s reputation as a leader its industry.
His strong supervisory skills and extensive knowledge of the company’s principles, procedures, and best practices enable him to make strategic operational decisions to increase productivity, profitability, customer satisfaction, and the company’s overall success. Segrest earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Master of Business Administration with emphasis in Information Systems from Auburn University. He is also Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
