HUNTSVILLE, AL – September 2017 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE) is proud to announce its selection as a Prime contractor to the United States Army Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) contract. RS3 is a $37.4 billion multiple award indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides support services for government programs with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) related requirements. These requirements include: engineering services, research and development, test and evaluation, logistics, acquisition and strategic planning, and education and training. RS3, with a period of performance of five years plus a five year option period, provides customers with one, highly accessible contract vehicle that offers streamlined processes and fulfills requirements for programs with C4ISR-related needs.
Of the 56 prime awards, INTUITIVE is one of forty small businesses to be selected as a Prime contractor and one of very few RS3 primes in the Huntsville area. INTUITIVE has a successful record of supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) as both a prime and subcontractor on several other IDIQ contracts. Through the RS3 contract, INTUITIVE and its team will provide its expertise in a multitude of engineering and technical analysis areas for the DoD.
