Mr. Michael (Mike) Bieri joined INTUITIVE’s executive team in 2018 and serves as Senior Vice President of Huntsville Operations. With over 38 years of experience in the defense industry, Bieri strengthens and expands INTUITIVE’s core capabilities and business management. Before joining INTUITIVE, he retired from the Government’s Senior Executive Service.
Bieri worked in a variety of positions at Redstone Arsenal starting in 1986 including numerous technical and managerial assignments within the Program Executive Office (PEO) Missiles and Space. His later assignments within the PEO were Deputy PM for CMDS, acting Deputy PEO, Director of Integration, and Deputy PEO for Acquisition and Systems Management (DASM). In his last government assignment, he served as the Director of the Engineering Directorate, part of the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aviation and Missile Center, responsible for providing Life Cycle Engineering expertise to Aviation and Missile PMs, MDA, as well as a host of other customers. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Senior Executive Fellows program. He is level III certified in several Acquisition Corp categories.
