AUSA Presents Rey Almodóvar with the 2024 John W. Dixon Award

Huntsville, AL – October 2024 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation’s (INTUITIVE®) Co-Founder and CEO Emeritus, Rey Almodóvar, P.E., accepted the John W. Dixon Award at the Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. on Monday, October 14, 2024.

 

The John W. Dixon Award is part of the AUSA’s 2024 National Awards, which honor individuals for their selfless service and dedication to the Army and its soldiers. The award was established in 1989 and is presented annually for distinguished service in the industrial community resulting in outstanding accountabilities to national defense. Mr. Almodóvar joins thirty-four other chairmen, chief executive officers, or presidents of major corporations for their notable contributions. The award was presented to Mr. Almodóvar by AUSA’s President and Chief Executive Officer, General Robert B. Brown (USA Retired), during the AUSA Annual Meeting’s Opening Ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C.

 

In 1999, after a 14-year career as an engineer for the U.S. Army, Almodóvar co-founded the Huntsville-based professional engineering and analysis firm. His guidance and expertise over the last 25 years have made INTUITIVE a renowned aerospace and defense company.
