Huntsville, AL – January 2024 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation’s (INTUITIVE ®) President and Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Vergenia Shelton, has been elected to the Huntsville/Madison Chamber’s Board of Directors. Mrs. Shelton will serve a three-year term and joins a diverse and impressive group of professionals from Madsion County.
Mrs. Shelton holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama and M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama. As a respected and accomplished business leader, Mrs. Shelton brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the role. Her career includes diverse experience in manufacturing, new product design, product development, project management, and engineering management. Mrs. Shelton’s leadership and guidance to INTUITIVE‘s team of engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts has propelled INTUITIVE forward as a premier aerospace, engineering, and analysis firm. She is responsible for the daily operation and improvement of all systems that deliver the firm’s services. She formulates and implements INTUITIVE’s strategic plan and oversees the complete operation of the organization.
In her new role on the board, Mrs. Shelton will play a critical role in shaping the direction and priorities of the Huntsville/Madison Chamber. She will work closely with other board members to develop new initiatives and services to support local businesses and will help to ensure that the Chamber of Commerce remains a dynamic organization that serves the needs of our community.
