HUNTSVILLE, AL – April 2019 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE) has been recognized as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work for Huntsville/Madison County by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce. Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards were given based on rankings. INTUITIVE was awarded the gold status. Each year employees of local businesses are surveyed on their workplace culture which evaluates employee engagement, leadership, and internal communication. This marks INTUITIVE’s twelfth year in a row to win the award.
The award was presented at the Huntsville Madison County 2019 Best Places to Work Awards Luncheon on April 30. INTUITIVE’s President, Vergenia Shelton, accepted the award on behalf of all the employees.
“We are honored to receive this award again this year, especially as we near our 20th Anniversary in business” said Shelton. “In June 1999, Harold Brewer and Rey Almodóvar founded INTUITIVE with a vision of creating a company built on ethical principles and values- and those same principles and value still radiant through the company today.” Shelton added, “It is extremely gratifying to know that our employees have such positive feelings towards the company. Since day one, we have believed that in order to provide outstanding service to our customers, we must create an atmosphere where employees are truly happy and excited about where they work and what they do.”
The awards luncheon honored local businesses in five categories including micro, small, medium, large, and x-large. INTUITIVE was placed in the x-large category, which is for companies with over 251 employees. INTUITIVE has been the only company to receive this award for the twelfth year in a row, making it a consistent winner since the Best Places to Work honor was established. Winners are selected based on input from employees. In June, INTUITIVE will celebrate 20 years of business.
