PENSACOLA, FL – June 2022 – Intuitive Research and Technology Corporation (INTUITIVE®) hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the expansion of the Pensacola, Florida office on Wednesday, June 8. This office is one of five corporate offices and 11 field locations, most of which are in the Southeast. INTUITIVE is headquartered in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
INTUITIVE’s Pensacola office focuses on supporting the Navy’s Center for Information Warfare Training Command and the Naval Aviation Technical Training Command by developing Navy specific operation and maintenance simulation trainers, web-based training systems, and 3D modeling of systems and platforms. Additionally, this office supports the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Department of Homeland Security, and various government agencies with a distinct blend of IT services from software development to information assurance to cyber security operations. The expansion and renovation project provides additional space to support new hires for projected growth, a collaborative space for employees who are currently maintaining a hybrid work schedule, and a conference training center for employees and customers.
INTUITIVE offers a wide range of services including production support, professional engineering, programmatic support, product development, rapid prototyping, and technology management to the Department of Defense (DoD), other State and Federal Government agencies, and commercial companies. INTUITIVE Division Manager, Wade Brewton, stated, “The expansion of the existing office will allow for the company to better serve and more efficiently manage Florida operations as INTUITIVE continues to grow in the region. A major component of the expansion project is a dedicated training room to provide on-site or distant training delivery for employees and customers. The training center was designed as a connected and comfortable space for both employees and customers.”
INTUITIVE’s overall business expansion as a company can be seen in its increasing number of employees and office locations. The Pensacola office and training center will extend the reach and responsiveness of INTUITIVE’s growing portfolio and facilitate offerings to the DoD, and other government agencies located in the area.
